Background
Everyone knows me as Farhad Kazemi in the Iranian sports community. I was born on the 2nd July 1959 in Tehran. I lived my childhood in the South of Tehran neighbourhood of Javadiyeh.
Youth
For as long as I remember during my childhood I used to enjoy a variety of different sports. I began by participating in the sport of wrestling at the age of thirteen, meanwhile playing volleyball and football at school, on the streets or where ever I could find the suitable space. These games used to be endless and would go on, and on and on forever.
Playing Career
I began my professional career as a footballer in the youth team of Ekbatan. Later, I played for Bootan and Akam, under the supervisions of Madad Noei, Parviz Abootaleb and Hossein Farzami respectively.
I then went on to play for Kian Football Club, who had Akbar Khoshkbari as its coach. Later on I moved to Pas to play for them for three years under the supervision of Mehdi Monajati. I then moved on to play for Rah Ahan Football Club for another three years.
Coaching Career
In 1989 Mehdi Monajati, the head coach and manager of Pas Football Club resigned from his post, hence Firouz Karimi and I took the responsibilities of head coach and coach respectively.
Later on – after Pas, Firouz and I both moved to Bahman Football Club only to hold the same responsibilities, this time at this very notable club. In 1994 Firouz Kaimi resigned as head coach of Bahman Football Club which resulted in me taking the responsibility of head coach.
Since 1994 in Bahman I have worked in many clubs as head coach. The clubs are listed below:
